What We Believe

God

We believe in one eternally existent, infinite God, existing in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ

We believe in Jesus Christ who is eternally one with the Father, was fully God and fully man in one person and He suffered and died so that we might be saved.

Holy Spirit

We believe in the Holy Spirit who draws individuals to the Father and He lives within believers, correcting, encouraging and speaking truth into their lives.

Bible

We believe that the word of God, both the Old and New Testaments are fully inspired by God, without error and supplies us with everything we need to know for salvation and living an abundant life in Christ.

Man’s Spiritual State and God’s Grace

We believe that we are all sinners by both nature and act and need to know how to be saved. We believe that man is unable to know God on his own but God has made it possible for man, by his grace, to know Him and be saved.

Repentance

We believe that repentance is a sincere change of one’s mind and direction, purposely deciding to obey God and follow His plan for your life.

Baptism

We believe in water baptism, which symbolizes a believer’s faith in Christ, their death to self and new life in Jesus Christ.

The Church

We believe that the Church is made up of all those who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ and work together through local bodies to fulfill the “Great Commission” which is to “Go and make disciples”.

Atonement (Salvation)

We believe that Jesus Christ, by His sufferings and His death on the cross,made atonement or satisfied God’s wrath for the entire human race. Christ’s atonement is the only grounds for an individual to be saved, sufficient for all yet only applied to individuals who choose to place their trust in Jesus Christ.

Distinct Living (Entire Sanctification)

This is a point in one's life where, by faith, we desire God to perfect His love in us and through us by His Spirit. We believe in living a distinct life by committing every area of our lives to the control of Jesus Christ, becoming more like Him everyday.

Justification, Regeneration & Adoption

We believe that at the moment of salvation an individual, by God’s grace, is Justified (declared righteous before God), Regenerated (Made new in Christ Jesus), and Adopted into the family of God.

The Lord’s Supper (Communion)

We believe in celebrating the Lord’s Supper, which was instituted by our Lord. The bread represents His body and the wine represents His blood that was shed that we might be saved and so we remember Him.

Divine Healing

We believe God can and still does provide physical, mental, and emotional healing. We pray for healing. We also believe that God can work through medical science.

Second Coming of Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ will come again and those who are dead shall be raised first and those of us who know Christ will rise to meet Him in the air and forever be with the Lord.

Resurrection, Judgment & Destiny

We believe in the resurrection of all people, the believer and the non-believer. Their bodies will be united with their spirits and they will be judged. Those who believe shall enter into eternal life and those who do not believe will suffer eternally in hell.
